Performance Metrics

Overview

Performance metrics are the statistical backbone of how Kaizen measures KOL effectiveness. These metrics help users assess whether a KOL offers real alpha or just noise across win rate, risk, return consistency, and timing behavior.

Core Metrics

  • Win Rate – Percentage of KOL calls that went above the initial call price.

  • Number of Calls – Total number of tokens the KOL has called.

  • Average X – The mean return multiple (X) from all calls.

  • Call Frequency – How often the KOL makes token calls over a given timeframe.

Performance

  • Form – Snapshot of recent call results (e.g., last 5–10 calls) showing win/loss or X.

  • Top Win Streak – Most consecutive calls that went above entry price.

  • Dump Rate – Proportion of tokens that declined significantly after being called.

  • % Still Above Entry – Percent of tokens that are still trading above their original call price.

X’s Data

  • Top 20% X – Average return of the top 20% best-performing calls.

  • Top 20% Excluded X – Average X return excluding top 20% performers to assess consistency.

  • Mode X – Most frequently occurring X value among all calls.

  • Cumulative X – Sum of all Xs from all calls β€” showing total call return power.

  • Number of X Milestones – How many calls reached 3x, 5x, 10x, 50x, or 100x.

  • Number of Break-even Calls – Calls that ended around the same price as the entry.

  • Number of Dumped Calls – Calls that dropped significantly in price post-call.

Marketcap Data

  • Average Marketcap – Average market cap of tokens at the time of the KOL's calls.

  • Lowest Marketcap – The smallest market cap of any token the KOL has called.

  • Median Marketcap – The middle value of all marketcaps the KOL has called.

  • Marketcap Entry Distribution – Distribution of call marketcaps to assess risk style.

Time-Based Metrics

  • Time to 2x – Average time it took for a token to double post-KOL call.

  • Time to ATH – Time taken for a token to hit its all-time high after the call.

  • Time to Dump After ATH – Time from ATH to significant drop (e.g., -30%).

  • Time in Profit – How long the token stayed above the original call price.

  • Time to Reach Profit – How quickly a token enters profit post-call.

  • Last Called – The timestamp or date when the KOL made their most recent token call.

Other

  • Token Type – Type/category of tokens called (e.g., meme, utility, gaming).

  • Language / Region – Primary language or target region of the KOL's audience.

  • KOL Active Follower Value – Total buy power of wallets that actively follow the KOL on-chain.

  • KOL Total Follower Value – Total buy power of all wallets attributed to this KOL.

  • Circulating Supply at Call – Circulating token supply at the time of the call.

Use Cases

  • Surface KOLs who are fast hitters (Time to 2x)

  • Find consistent mid-X players vs outlier hunters

  • Sort by dump risk or long-term call survival

  • Cross-compare different KOL styles (momentum, conviction, snipers)

  • Plus much more
